  2. Q. What’s the purpose of the well, then community?

    A. well, then is a community where people can be inspired by what others do to be well and then inspire them in turn. well, then users can also connect on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

  3. Q. Who can use the well, then community site?

    A. Anybody and everybody, including:

    • Unregistered users who just want to listen in or share interesting well, then content with their network
    • Registered well, then members who want to upload their own ways to be well
    • Advisers – Harvard Pilgrim Health Care employees who have expertise in one (or more) ways to be well

  4. Q. Do I have to be a Harvard Pilgrim Health Care member, employee or employer to use the community site?

    A. Anyone can use the site and everyone’s contributions are valued.

  5. Q. What is a way to be well?

    A. It’s anything and everything you do to improve your own wellbeing -- whether it’s physical, emotional, spiritual, financial or any combination thereof. For example, cutting out dessert, listening to music, taking your medication, running, doing yoga, living with a condition…

  6. Q. How do I upload a photo or video?

    A. In the “Add your way” section, scroll down to “upload a photo or video”. Click on the “browse” button, choose the file you want to upload from your computer or other location, then click “upload”. It’s that simple.   7. Q. How can I interact with other community users?

    A. You can “Like” their ways to be well (your “Like” will show up on Facebook). You can also comment on or share their content. And if you’re registered, depending on their privacy settings, you can follow them on well, then and Twitter; friend them on Facebook; or send them an Email. You can also interact with other well, then users who are on our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels.

  8. Q. Who can view my profile?

    A. Everyone who uses the well, then site can view your profile.

  9. Q. Who can follow and/or friend me?

    A. Only registered well, then users can follow you. You can also allow users to follow you on Twitter, friend you on Facebook or email you by adjusting your profile privacy settings.

  10. Q. How can I find other users?

    A. There are a few ways to do this. You can choose a category, then see who’s active within that category; you can scan the ways to be well landing page and see whose content you like the most; you can enter a few keywords into search and see who pops up.

  11. Q. How can I find specific content?

    A. Searching by category is the easiest method for finding specific ways to be well.

  12. Q. How can I flag something that’s inappropriate or offensive?

    A. You can flag something anonymously by clicking on the “flag” link. (image of flag link goes here) If something is flagged, it will be reviewed by a site administrator. If it’s deemed to be inappropriate or offensive, the way to be well, comment or bio will be deleted.

  13. Q. What happens if my way to be well, comment or bio is flagged?

    A. If something you created is flagged by another user, that item will be reviewed by a site administrator who will determine whether it is inappropriate or offensive. If it’s deemed to be inappropriate or offensive, it will be deleted.

    A. We believe that when we’re as well as we can be, then life is better for us all.
    That’s why we sponsor well, then -- a place where we can all share, learn, and inspire each other with ways to be well.

  16. Q. Who are Advisers?

    A. Advisers have a Harvard Pilgrim Health Care shield to identify them as employees of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care who have expertise in one (or more) ways to be well.

    A. You can connect with an Adviser the same way you connect with other well, then users

  18. Q. What are the Terms of Use?

  19. Q. What is the Privacy Policy?

    A. In a nutshell, any registration information you share will not be shared or sold by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care to any third parties. If you want to know more, you can read the privacy policy here.

  22. Q. Forgot Password

    A. If you can't remember the password you created when you registered, follow these simple instructions to receive an email that will let you reset your password.
    Click on the "sign in" or "join" link
    Click on Forgot Password
    Enter the email address you used to register
    A link will be sent to you that will allow you to reset your password

  23. Q. Forgot Username

    A. Enter the email address you used when you joined and we’ll send you your username.

  24. Q. Changing your account information

    A. Click on edit profile on your profile page to change your profile picture, username, password, email address, username, etc.

  25. Q. Deleting your account

    A. If you delete your account, everything you uploaded will also be deleted. You can find the delete account link on your profile page.

  26. Q. Quarantined/locked account

    A. An account may be locked because your content, comments or bio was flagged as inappropriate or offensive by 3 other users. Quarantined content is reviewed. If it’s deemed to be inappropriate or offensive, it will be deleted. Please email us if you find that your account is locked so that we can figure out whether this is the case and get back to you. If you have any other account issues, please feel free to send us an email.

  27. Photo/Video Issues

  28. Q. Photo/video file did not upload

    A. Try selecting your photo/video file again, then click upload.

    If you still have an issue uploading a file, chances are it’s due to the file size or format. Please review the upload instructions and try again. If that doesn’t work, your file is probably too large. The average photo is 10MB or less and the average YouTube video is 1-2 minutes and is 12-300MB in size. A good rule of thumb when recording your video is to keep it short – 60 seconds, maximum.

    NOTE: Your photo file must be 10MB or less; we accept JPEGs, non-animated GIFs, and PNGs photo files. Maximum video file size is 300MB; we accept swf, flv, 3gp, wmv, mov, avi, mpg, mp4, m4v, vob, and rm video files.

  29. Q. Video Player Issues

    A. To view video, you’ll need to have Flash player 9 or greater installed.

  30. Q. Audio issues

    A. If you're having trouble hearing the video, please check to make sure your sound is turned up and your speakers are on.
