Look at the HP 10K that finishes on the 50 yard line at Gillette Stadium! Runners actually come through the players tunnel and finish on the field!

John, thanks for posting this- I was away that w/e, so good to see it. Looks like it was a good turnout, and hope you were feeling better soon after!

Thanks Ann!! I did feel better later in the day, but was pretty much whipped. I wish I could have brought you the view from the field!! Thanks!!

Thanks for sharing and for your support! Nice to see a good turnout. You made the right decision to rest your body, glad your feeling better. You'll be burning rubber soon!

Thanks Laurie! I was so disappointed that I couldn't run this - I looked forward to it for a long time. But at least it was one bad day not an injury that sidelined me for months!

That's awesome Kerith! And, it's not how you start, it's how you finish - and you finished! It was hot out there too! I'll feel much better next year- I still can't believe I missed this race.... Glad you got to participate and better yet, with your family! Have you done any 5K's at all? There's a big difference between a 5K and a 10K - like 3 miles! :) Making it much easier to do! Food for thought?

nope, haven't don't any 5k's. i used to enjoy running (wasn't a rock star or anything). it's tough to find the time right now with a little monkey so we try to get lots of good walks in. some day my little family will be able to run the Harvard Pilgrim 10K!! ;)

wow - that sounds like a great race! can anyone tell me if the course is mainly flat or has a lot of hills? I have never run in foxboro before Also - I wonder if the race organizers have given thought to having both a 10k and a 5k next year? Seems like that could really draw in a bigger crowd and make it easier for more people to partcipate! great job to all those who finished this year's race

Kerith- you'll be back out there with the lil' one in no time! And, walking is just as good as running, it just takes a little longer to get there! :) Weston - a 5K would be a great addition! I heard the course was fairly flat but being that I didn't get to run it, well... :) Everyone was thrilled to finish on the field, what a cool event! What races are you planning on this fall? I'm doing the Famouth Road Race Sunday - can't wait for that!! Keep on running!

I did the Falmouth Road Race on Sunday and boy, was it a great race! Hillier than I expected but what great views of the ocean - just a great way to spend the day!
