I am on a quest to lose weight and find my running legs again. Despite being a bit overweight, I recently completed my 3rd marathon.

Scale Junkie hit all the high points!
If you simply have a cold, keep at it! Tone down the workouts while your sick and listen to your body. If it is saying time to stop....stop, don't push yourself. Drink plenty of fluids, get adequate rest and sleep, eat healthy immune boosting foods! If you stop all together, it is so much harder to get back into that routine.
I've read that exercise can boost the immune system so as long as your body isn't saying rest, I'd try to do moderate exercise but maybe break it down into smaller blocks over the course of the day instead of all at once.
If your taking a decongestant or something else that could raise your heart rate I'd avoid anything strenuous, same goes if you're having a hard time breathing with your cold you don't want to make things worse.
If you have a fever at all, just rest!
Stay warm, stay hydrated and feel better soon!
