Inspiring ways to be well.

I am a mama of 2 and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 6 1/2 years. I'm always on the go and often sleep deprived.
I have 2 blogs, work part time, am going to ultrasound school full time, and have to balance my mom role and our home on top of that.
I'm also really interested in health and exercise, love running, and ran my first marathon this last time. Never a dull moment.

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

In order to be well, you have to realize that you can't always sweat the small stuff. If things aren't going well in your life, or you have too much on your plate, step back to look at the big picture and think if that one tiny thing really matters. For example, there are a lot of things that can stress me out in a day - my kids, school, work, what to make for dinner, how I'm going to get everything done. The other day my boys were making mess after mess and I was getting stressed. Instead of letting it get to me, I got down to play and make a mess with them, realizing that things can be picked up later, but in the long run, spending time with them is what matters.
