I love to cook, but I haven't done much lately since I've spent the last 2 months packing, moving and unpacking. I love to garden too, but my new place is small so I'll have to learn how to do container gardening. My dogs keep me sane and balanced. They are so in rhythm with me, and me with them!

I normally don't have a problem sleeping unless I have a lot on my mind. When I think I won't be able to shut my mind off, I take a hot shower before bed. It relaxes me and seems to "wash away" the anxiety. I sleep soundly everytime!

It's great that you recognize when your experiencing stress and do something to curtail it!

I have the same problem.. I feel like my mind is always racing esp when I lay down and try to go to bed. I will have to try this.. thanks for the tip!

That's good use of imagery, the 'washing away' of the anxiety! Impaired sleep results in many issues that can impact us day to day, so lots of research is being done in this area.
