Thanks for sharing this short clip. The mental health effects post cardiac event or surgery are often overlooked and often not addressed upon discharge from an inpatient facility. The potential for depression, mood swings, crying, etc. are very real. Having supports in place from family, friends and physicians makes a significant difference in facilitating recovery. Anyone struggling in this area should not be afraid to seek out professional support if needed to work through the healing process.
