This is facinating! It is my hope more physician's will begin to see the value of alternative treatments as more of this positive and measurable data is available and integrate it into their practices. Someday it may be common place for physician's to order alternative treatment modalities/CAM as our European & Eastern counterparts have done for eons!
Tara, thanks for sharing this site!
How interesting: Mass General doing a controlled study on the positive impact of an 8 wk. mindfulness meditation training. And to be able to see the actual changes from before/after brain imaging from just a 27 minute/day average of meditation - very cool !!
Good motivation for me to keep to daily mindfulness meditation.
