All good tips! I also avoid buying bottled water and bring my own water to work. Since I've been trying to increase my intake of water, I use my 1 liter container to "measure" my intake during the day, avoid adding to landfills (even though we recycle), and save $.
Bringing lunch to work really helps us cut back on some of the "little expenses" that can add up. Plus, it's healthier since I know exactly what goes into my lunch - especially when it comes to dressings and salad makings that can often be tempting.
We also try to fill up our cars at gas stations that aren't in the city, which can be tricky since that's where we live. But, if we time it when we're doing other errands outside of the city, it's amazing how much that actually saves.
Sometimes, it's those little things that when you do the math - really add up.
