I am a mama of 2 and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 6 1/2 years. I'm always on the go and often sleep deprived.
I have 2 blogs, work part time, am going to ultrasound school full time, and have to balance my mom role and our home on top of that.
I'm also really interested in health and exercise, love running, and ran my first marathon this last time. Never a dull moment.

Sleeping When You Work Graves

I work graveyard shifts, and sometimes I'm more than a little silly due to lack of sleep. I'm sure I'm not the only person who works graves or doesn't get the sleep they need at night, however you need your sleep!

I sleep whenever I get the chance, and make sure that I take naps when my husband is home to care for the kids. I've noticed that it helps keep me sane and I don't get sick as often.

That's alot of juggling and not uncommon for working parents!

I used to rotate all three shifts when I worked in the hospital- that was the start of my insomnia. I've worked at resolving it, because there's so much more research now linking lack of sleep to health issues. As you said, we need our sleep!

It's now my norm to be able to get a good night's sleep. What a difference that makes!
