I'm a 76-year-old guy who has been running for 39 years, and I've had only one injury due to not enough rest after my runs. I was very conservative in planning my runs and thought I had enough rest, but my body needed more. One of the problems with growing old, I guess. I ran in MA and NH for 17 years. I'm now living in Utah.

One nice thing about being a grandparent is that you have lots of activities to attend. A granddaughter is a member of the swim team at her school, and we recently attended her swim-meet.

And you have very talented grandchildren, as I recall from past postings Allen. I seem to recall a beautiful piece in a violin recital.
No surprise that your granddaughter is on the swim team- she has a great model for staying active in her grandfather!!

That's a fast sprinter! I always loved the 50, but always got put in the distance events instead. How fun you got to watch!
