Hello! My name is Kristen and I am a representative of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. I am here to support your well, then experience, so please let me know if there is anything I can do for you! During my free time, I enjoy being outdoors doing various activities. When the weather is warm you can find me doing things such as biking, hiking, running, kayaking or playing soccer. During the winter months I enjoy skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. Also, any time spent with friends and family is great!

Since it was so nice out on Monday, I decided to pack a lunch and head out to Blue Hills for a nice hike! Believe it or not, there are lots of different trails to hop on and you can choose to do a short hike or take a little longer and enjoy the scenery. On Monday, they even had the chair lifts running to bring people up and down (I didn't use this, BUT a very nice lady that we passed on the trail gave us a free trip!). The skyline trail was the trail of choice for the day and we spent about 2 hours hiking around. It was great to see all of the families out together and even to see how many dogs were making the trek to the top! We left from the parking lot near the trailside museum, which is also a fun place to take kids! They have a lot of animals outside, some picnic tables, running streams and it's just a cool place for families.

You're right Kristen, there are some really nice trails with varied levels of difficulty in the Blue Hills. Hope you are able to maintain your goal of healthy eating during the holidays- so many tempting things!!

I just went to Blue Hills on Saturday, I can't believe that I had never been before. My friend and I had a blast and we spent about 2 hours just walking around and found different trails! I can't wait to go back- great day and great work out!
